Policies & Rates

ASA WRIGHT NATURE CENTRE

Welcome to our Nature Preserve. Please review our policy and rate information, whether you are visiting for a day or staying overnight at our Ecolodge.

Day Passes are available at a rate of TT$550.00 per person. This fee allows visitors access to the property from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. All Day-Pass guests receive a complimentary 30-minute guided Orientation Tour, with the option to arrange an in-depth birding tour for additional fees. What to Pack:
• Natural/Non-toxic sunscreen
• Natural/Non-toxic insect repellent
• Bathing suit
• Hat
• Towels
• Lightweight t-shirts and trousers
• Long socks
• Hiking/Walking Shoes or Sneakers
• Backpack for day trips
• Re-useable water bottle (free potable water available on site)
• Ziplock bags for keeping things dry, or keeping wet things separately
• Camera and/or Video Recorder.

What Not to Bring:
• Dark clothing.
• Highly fragranced body products (perfume, lotion, etc.).
• Dangling jewelry can become entangled in overhanging branches.
• Food prepared externally.
• Portable cooking equipment.
• Pets of any kind.
• No camouflage accessories or clothing permitted.

Reservations are required for our Day Pass, and they are subject to availability. Bookings must be arranged at least 48 hours prior to arrival through our Reservations Office and paid in full before arrival via an online payment link.

Please review these policies prior to arrival in order to streamline your trip and enhance your stay.

CHECK-IN, CHECK-OUT, AND SECURITY
• All guests must register at the Front Desk upon arrival with one (1) valid form of identification. Nationals of Trinidad and Tobago can use their passport, national identification card or driver’s permit. Non-nationals are required to show a valid/current passport.
• All check-ins are at 3:00 p.m. AST daily.
• Guests checking into the hotel must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• All guests under the age of eighteen (18) are required to be accompanied by an adult.

RATE INFORMATION • Rates are inclusive of all Applicable Taxes, Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea, and Dinner. • Rates also include a sixty (60) minute guided trail tour. • Changes to the dates of stay, the number of guests per room, or number of rooms confirmed may change the rate and/or required payment of cancellation fees.

PAYMENTS • Bookings can be requested via email or telephone.
• A fifty per cent (50%) deposit is to be made within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt of invoice from HADCO Experiences and where applicable, proof of payment sent.
• Confirmation can only be given following the submission of proof of payment.
• Final Payments are to be made at least two (2) weeks before arrival.

CHILDREN
• Children who are five (5) years of age and under stay free with an accompanying adult (two children per room, based on room type).
• Children aged six (6) to twelve (12) are offered fifty per cent (50%) off the nightly rates.
• Children under eighteen (18) years of age must be accompanied by an adult eighteen (18) years of age or over at all times and shall not be left unattended on the property at any time during their stay.
